With the blockbuster news of Kevin Love finally going to Cleveland, it seems that Philadelphia have found a way to get something out of it after all.
According to Philly.com the Sixers are getting rid of Thad Young and will get Anthony Bennett in exchange.
A source informed the Daily News that the Sixers will be sending veteran forward Thaddeus Young to Minnesota for a package that will include Bennett, the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NBA draft.
The deal, which two sources have confirmed to the Associated Press, will not be official until Aug. 23, when Wiggins, this year’s No. 1 draft pick, becomes eligible to be traded.
I’m telling you guys. The Sixers are slowly coming back into the Playoff picture. They’re not there yet. But they need some born leaders on the team. Luckily the team is young so they have time to find out who their main man will be. Minnesota, on paper look like they’re in that “not bad but not good” territory that no team wants to be in so they have to get a short term and long term plan and quick.
Cleveland. They have to win the title now. There’s no excuse. I’ll be fine if they make the Finals but the cut-throat NBA fans of today will rip the Cavs if they don’t dominate immediately.
