Melii’s latest song Fresh Air gives fans an affectionate side of the artist to enjoy.
The ballad features the heavy strum of a guitar while Melii sings softly in Spanish. The Icey rapper sings most of the song, displaying her vocal talent beyond brazen-faced bars. Writing her music also remains a heavy part of her recording process. During an interview with Janel Martinez for The Fader Melii shares how she began writing with poetry.
Being bilingual, Melii often switches between English and Spanish in her music and Fresh Air follows suit. On Fresh Air Melii sings of romance lost and trust issues found.
