Netflix is no stranger to shows about cooking and overall cuisine. They’ve presented highly regarded originals like Chef’s Table as well as providing a home for much of the Food Network’s online library. However, if you’ve watched several different food-based programs you might quickly realize that most of them aren’t that unique from each other. However, ‘Ugly Delicious’ from Chef David Chang looks primed to flip the script entirely.
The show approaches the genre from a much more altruistic perspective. By attempting to bring people together in this increasingly divided world through food. Not just by pure consumption, but by understanding how and why certain cultures prepare and eat food the way that they do.
We’ve attached the trailer for ‘Ugly Delicious’ and a short bio on Chef David Chang below.
