Riding high off the success of its last two original films, Netflix has released the latest trailer for its upcoming movie, The Last Laugh. The 2019 Netflix release is set to star Chevy Chase, Richard Dreyfuss and Andie McDowell in a comedy about a stand-up comedian returning to the stage with his former manager after spending much of his life settled down with a family to raise.
The film will be written and directed by Greg Pritikin. Alongside Pritikin, Rob Paris of Paris Film Inc. will produce the film. Alongside Chase, Dreyfuss and McDowell, the upcoming film will feature Lewis Black, Kate Micucci and Chris Parnell.
Ahead of the Netflix film, Pritikin said, “For me, The Last Laugh is about learning to let go of the past and embrace the present.” Pritikin also said, “It’s about rediscovering and remembering how to live. There is a grace in growing old and in letting go of the hustle and ambition, and embracing this new season in your life.” He ended by stating, “I think people are happier at this point. It’s about letting go of the past and embracing the now.”
The Last Laugh will be release on January 11th 2019.
