The NBA, a day after Christmas, had a full slate of 11 games on the night. The games featured some marquee matchups between some top teams as well as younger teams looking to excite the faithful fans. There was a special debut and a few performances that made some people turn their heads. Check it out.

Brooklyn Nets at Boston Celtics. Nets beat Celtics, 109-107.
Jarrett Jack scored 27 with 7 rebounds and 5 assists on the night to lead the Nets and Mason Plumlee scored 14 points with 12 rebounds. Deron Williams may have a new role coming off the bench for the Nets and scored 8 points with 4 assists off the bench. Alan Anderson joined him off the bench to score 15 and Mirza Teletovic also totaled 11 points coming off the bench.
Celtics were lead by Jeff Green who score 22 points with 5 assists, Jared Sullinger scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds Avery Bradley scored 17 and Tyler Zeller had 14 points with 9 rebounds. Kelly Olynyk came off the bench for 11 points.
Brooklyn Nets are 13-15. Boston Celtics are 10-17.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Orlando Magic. Cavs beat Magic 98-89.
LeBron James had 29 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds, and Cleveland rallied to beat the Orlando Magic. Kevin Love scored 22 points in 3 quarters and sixth man Dion Waiters added 17 for Cleveland. Tristan Thompson had 9 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Tobias Harris led Orlando with 16 points. Nikola Vucevic had 12 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds, and reserve Evan Fournier scored 15.
Cleveland Cavaliers are 18-11. Orlando Magic are 11-21.

Milwaukee Bucks at Atlanta Hawks. Bucks beat Hawks 107-77.
Bucks forward Jared Dudley made all 10 shots of his shots, including four 3-pointers, and scored a season-high 24 points. Brandon Knight added 16 points for Milwaukee, which snapped Atlanta’s five-game winning streak. Milwaukee’s bench continued its recent strong play in the second period, as Dudley, Jerryd Bayless, O.J. Mayo and John Henson outscored Atlanta’s subs 32-7 in the first half.
Paul Millsap led the Hawks with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Other than Millsap, who made all eight of his shots in the first half to score 18, the rest of the Hawks shot 9-for-30 (30 percent). Al Horford scored 13 points, Jeff Teague score 12 on the night.
Milwaukee Bucks are 15-15. Atlanta Hawks are 21-8.

Indiana Pacers at Detroit Pistons. Pistons defeat Pacers 119-109.
Greg Monroe had 19 points and 15 rebounds, Andre Drummond scored 20 points to end a four game losing streak. It was also the first game after releasing Josh Smith from the roster. Brandon Jennings scored 14 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope dropped 15 for the Pistons.
Roy Hibbert paced Indiana with 19 points, but foul trouble sent him to the bench in the third quarter. Solomon Hill and C.J. Watson both scored 14 points.
Indiana Pacers are 10-20. Detroit Pistons are 6-23.

Houston Rockets at Memphis Grizzlies. Rockets beat Grizzlies 117-111 in overtime.
Josh Smith who signed with the team recently, scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. James Harden led the Rockets with 32 points and 10 assists. Ariza finished with 15 points, Corey Brewer added 13 and Patrick Beverley had 12 points for the Rockets. Dwight Howard had only 6 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Marc Gasol led Memphis with 29 points, while Beno Udrih contributed 17. Quincy Pondexter scored 14, and Vince Carter had 10, including a pair of huge 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter to power a Memphis rally.
Houston Rockets are 21-7. Memphis Grizzlies are 21-8.

San Antonio Spurs at New Orleans Pelicans. Pelicans beat Spurs 97-90.
Anthony Davis finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks in the Pelicans win. Ryan Anderson scored 22 points for New Orleans, and Jrue Holiday added 15 points and 7 assists.
Tim Duncan had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs, and Cory Joseph also scored a career-high 20 points. San Antonio played without Tony Parker and the defending champion Spurs have dropped 6 of 7.
San Antonio Spurs are 18-13. New Orleans Pelicans are 15-14.

Charlotte Hornets at Oklahoma City Thunder. Thunder defeat Hornets 98-75.
Russell Westbrook scored 29 points to lead Oklahoma City and snap Charlotte’s 4 game winning streak. Serge Ibaka added 13 points, 14 rebounds and blocked 4 hots for the Thunder. Neither player saw action in the final period. Anthony Morrow also scored 11 coming off the bench.
Brian Roberts came off the bench to lead the Hornets with 17 points, scoring 11 garbage time, in the fourth quarter. Al Jefferson came into the game averaging 19 per game but finished with just 4 points. “Big Al” and Kemba Walker combined to shoot just 4 of 20 from the field with Walker scoring only 6 points.
Charlotte Hornets are 10-20. Oklahoma City Thunder are 15-16.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Denver Nuggets. Nuggets defeat T-Wolves 106-102.
Kenneth Faried possibly had the best line of the season grabbing a career-high 25 rebounds to go along with 26 points for the Nuggets. Wilson Chandler scored 21 points for the Nuggets and Ty Lawson finished with 16 points and 11 assists. All 5 Nuggets starters scored in double figures.
Thaddeus Young scored 23 points and rookie sensation Andrew Wiggins had 22 for the Timberwolves, who have lost 7 straight and 13 of their last 14 games. Gorgui Dieng had 14 points and 13 rebounds as well.
Minnesota Timberwolves are 5-23. Denver Nuggets are 13-17.

Philadelphia 76ers at Portland Trail Blazers. Blazers beat Sixers 114-93.
Damian Lillard scored 28 points, Wesley Matthews had 25 and the Blazers hit a season-high 18, 3-pointers on their way to a win over the Sixers. Joel Freeland scored 6 points but grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds, a Blazers season high and Nicolas Batum scored 14 points on the night. The Blazers were without LaMarcus Aldridge, Robin Lopez and Chris Kaman all due to injury.
Tony Wroten came off the bench, after a recent knee sprain, to score 22 points. Michael Carter-Williams had 17 points, and K.J. McDaniels finished with 12, joining Wroten off the bench.
Philadelphia 76ers are 4-24. Portland Trail Blazers are 24-7.

Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings. Suns beat Kings 115-106.
Isaiah Thomas returned to his old stomping ground of Sacramento, after a few choice words for the Kings, to finish with 17 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds in just 29 minutes to lead a late Suns run. Marcus Morris had 20 points and 9 rebounds, Eric Bledsoe added 18 points with 6 assists, Markieff Morris scored 17 points and Goran Dragic finished with 16 points and 6 assists for the Suns.
Darren Collison scored 19 points, and Rudy Gay added 16 points and 5 assists for the Kings, who dearly missed DeMarcus Cousins who out with a stomach illness. Reggie Evans tried to make up for Cousins’ being out, going for 11 points and 16 rebounds. Derrick Williams came off the bench to score 16 points.
