
Later this month, the NBA’s biggest stars will descend upon the Windy City to participate in All-Star Weekend. This year, Portland Trailblazers point guard Damian Lillard will participate in the 3-Point Contest and rising star Zion Williamson will play in the Rising Stars Challenge. Later that weekend, LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will lead their teams in the NBA All-Star Game. Joining them, entertainment’s biggest names will participate in the weekend’s Celebrity Game.
The league has announced that Chance The Rapper and Common will serve as the captains for this year’s Celebrity Game. Quavo, Taylor Bennett, Anthony “Spice” Adams and Lil’ Rel Howery will play on Chance’s team. On the other side, Bad Bunny, Hannibal Buress, Jidenna and Kane Brown will join Common’s team. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and Michael Wilbon will coach each team.
This year’s game will take place on February 14th at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Zion Williamson and Ja Morant will follow Chance The Rapper and Common as the play in the Rising Stars Challenge immediately after.
