It may be hard to believer, but it’s only been two months since Nas released King’s Disease. Since the release of his latest project so much has happened in music. However, King’s Disease has remained constant. Standing out with “Til’ The War Is On” and “All Bad” featuring Anderson .Paak, King’s Disease has become one of the most memorable projects of an extremely chaotic year. Continuing to extend the life of the project, Nas has returned the release of the “Replace Me” video.
Joined by Big Sean and Don Toliver, the “Replace Me” video is a bit of a video inside of a video. Nas, Big Sean and Don Toliver sit inside of a photo album filled with memories of past relationships. Directed by Christian Sutton, each star takes turns explaining their side of things.
“You can’t replace me like a battery, you can’t mistake ’em for Nasty/You know my anatomy, you know my body is voodoo probably/Kama Sutra, Mr. Oochie Wally/She hit the woah, I’m in control, I’m in her soul,” Nas raps.
“You talk a little sweet about me, a lot of sour/I know that you believe in stars/And just like stars, you know your words got a lot of power/You know I’m good at reading you, I spent like ten thousand hours,” Big Sean adds.
