
Nas had a very busy 2019 and he’s only getting started. To kick off the year, Nas dropped a string of videos for songs off of his 2018 album, Nasir. Soon thereafter, he was named as a headliner for 2019 Governor’s Ball. Most recently, the New York entertainer has been making moves in the boardroom. His business venture, Mass Appeal, signed on with Showtime to air the upcoming Wu-Tang Clan documentary. In addition, his business group made a significant amount of money when their investment, Pluto TV, was acquired by Viacom for $340 million.

Today, Nas made another big move when his voice ushered in a brand new ad for Hennessy during the biggest television event of the year. During the Super Bowl, Nas narrated a brand new Hennessy that put a spotlight on Marshall Walter “Major” Taylor. Taylor’s legacy exudes black excellence during Black History Month as he was the first black cyclist to win the world track championships.
