This victory for Budenholzer is his second Coach of the Year award, the first coming in 2015 with the Atlanta Hawks. That Hawks team also finished 60-22, ironically enough.Coach Bud is the sixth NBA coach to win multiple NBA Coach of the Year award.

The Bucks went deep in the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2000-2001 season before falling to the eventual NBA champion Toronto Raptors in six games. Milwaukee figures to be just as lethal next season with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Eric Bledsoe leading the way, but will have some free agency decisions looming.
