
Mick Jenkins has announced that the follow-up to his 2018 project, Pieces of a Man, will be called The Circus. The new album will be released through Free Nation and Cinematic Music Group. Jenkins new album will feature production from Hit-Boy, IAMNOBODI and Black Milk. Alongside Jenkins, fan can expect an EarthGang cameo. The first single from the upcoming project is called “Carefree” produced by Black Milk.
On the hook, Mick raps, “I was off the drugs, I was off the dranks, I was off the vibes/Got?nothin’?to hide, I’m?with the squad/Don’t make me throw?it up/She by my side, we bonafide, that sh*t is nice.”
Later, he raps, “Damn nigga, let me breathe/Damn n*gga, let me cook/Damn family, give me space.”
The Circus will hit streaming platforms on January 20th 2020.
