Micheal Keaton may be the next actor to make the switch from DC to Marvel. Keaton, who starred as Batman in 1989’s “Batman” and 1992’s “Batman Returns” delivered one of the best Batman performances to date and is now being eyed as the villain for the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. Though the talks for Keaton are still early and the villain he is being eyed to play is unknown, signs are pointing towards Vulture. Sony has been trying to use Vulture in it’s film since the Sam Raimi directed Spider-Man. Sony also hinted at Vulture and The Sinister Six coming into the fold during The Amazing Spider-Man 2. With the third reboot coming to life, this may be the perfect time for Marvel and Sony to give the character his movie adaption for the first time after two previous attempts.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will be directed by Jon Watts and star Tom Holland as Spider-Man. The film is set to hit theaters July7, 2017 and will start production within the next upcoming months.
