It’s been nearly a year since Marvel’s Black Panther hit theaters in 2019, but it’s a relevant as ever in Hollywood. The Marvel film has been picking up nominations and awards left and right as of late. At the Golden Globe Awards, the film picked up nominations for “Best Drama Picture” and “Best Original Score”. At the SAG Awards, the film won for “Best Cast in a Motion Picture” and “Best Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture”. Going forward, the Ryan Coogler film will look to pick up some awards at the Oscars.
While most are still focused on how Black Panther will fare at the Oscars, many fans are already looking towards the Black Panther sequel. Marvel hasn’t revealed too much about the film, but viewers have already started coming up with possible plot lines for the second picture. Adding to the rumors surrounding the film, Courtney B. Vance and Angela Bassett added to the rumors during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. When asked about the second film, Vance told reporters that everyone would be back for the second film. Later on, he doubled down on his statements by saying, “even Michael B.” will back.
Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but if Michael B. Jordan is coming back that could add to what will be a fantastic film.
