Meek Mill is back and ready to kick off the new year with a bang! The Philadelphia native ended last year by releasing a new mixtape. In 2023, he hopes to deliver not one, but four bodies of work.
“This year, [I want to release] a [new] album every quarter,” he tweeted.
Meek Mill not only put his plans out in the open via Twitter, but he also shared an Instagram Post that backed up his goal to some degree. The Philadelphia native shared six clips of what appear to be new music videos.
“Dream Catching: The Movie. [The] date [will] come soon,” he captioned the post.
“I [have] been loading up for a reason. Let’s ball.”
Meek Mill didn’t stop there. To complete his announcement, he also shared a seventh music video clip that features an unreleased collaboration with Lil’ Uzi Vert.
“This gotta get on the streets ASAP, too,” he wrote.
Meek Mill delivered his fifth studio album, Expensive Pain, back in 2021 with contributions from Lil’ Baby, Lil’ Durk, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Kehlani, Brent Faiyaz and many others. In its first week, the project moved approximately 95,000 units and clocked in at number three on the Billboard 200. Since then, he has ramped up his work with the REFORM Alliance, ended his contractual relationship with Roc Nation Management and celebrated the 10th anniversary of his debut album. Now, he’s looking to get back to work in 2023.
