Since the start of 2016, there has been little rumors of Marvel cancelling the Inhumans movie, but with the constant mentioning of Inhumans on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D, its something that didn’t make much sense. A Marvel Studio head ended that rumor saying the film was still slated for a theatrical release, but now there’s an update on the release of the film.
Kevin Fiege sat down with Collider to talk about the shifting of release dates for Disney related films.
“Since we made our initial phase three announcement, we added ‘Spider-Man,’ which was a big joyous coup for us. We added ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp,’ which was a big fun continuation of that story for us. Walt DisneyCompany has announced an ‘Indiana Jones’ film for right around that same time. So I think [‘Inhumans’] will shuffle off the current date that it’s on right now. How far down it shuffles, I’m not sure yet,” Feige explained to Collider.
“Inhumans” was originally scheduled to hit theaters on July 12, 2019, but with these new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe expect a new release date soon.
