Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. is BACK with new music. The Portland Trail Blazers point guard might have seen his season end at the hands of a Golden State Warriors sweep but after a few weeks away from the court, Dame decided to pick up a mic and spit some more fire.
We heard what the Blazers All-Star guard had to offer last year with a number of freestyles culminating in his debut project ‘The Letter O’. When he released his first album he also announced his record label, ‘Front Page Music’ for up-and-coming artists to have a platform to release music.
But with the offseason here, Lillard got people talking over the weekend when he did an Instagram live session in a Portland studio and you could hear the Drake ‘More Life’ track ‘Free Smoke’ playing in the background as Dame started to practice his bars. The big question now is how do Dame’s bars over this instrumental stack up against hopeful top 5 2017 NBA Draft pick Lonzo Ball? The UCLA star guard and son of the outspoken LaVar Ball has released music of his own recently and he also freestyled over ‘Free Smoke’. So which hooper do you think made Drake proud?
