SEC Freshman of the Year and Roc Nation recording artist Flau’jae Johnson has officially wrapped up a championship-winning basketball season and the opportunities are rolling in on and off the court. Louisiana native and rap icon Lil’ Wayne plans to collaborate with the Tigers guard in the future. Lil’ Wayne has shown his consistent support to many women’s basketball teams throughout the duration of the 2023 NCAA March Madness Tournament.

Flau’Jae is no stranger to the power of manifestation. Days after winning the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship, she tweeted, “Imagine Winning A National Championship Your FRESHMAN Year! Then Getting A Lil Wayne Feature Right After ??! What is life.”

“Actually, me and Flau’jae, we’ve spoken, but we about to connect musically soon,” Lil Wayne said during LSU’s Final Four matchup against Virginia Tech last Friday.
“That’s shoutout to Miss Kim [Mulkey] too. Because Kim told me, ‘you must do something with my girl Flau’jae.’ I was like ‘say less.’”

Flau’Jae has been rapping since she was in middle school, following in the footsteps of her father, Camouflage. Flau’Jae has only grown in her national exposure since appearing on season three of The Rap Game. She currently signed with Jay-Z’s label Roc Nation and recently appeared on America’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent: All-Stars.
