At the top of the year, it appeared that the music release schedule was quiet. Drake, Griselda, Jazmine Sullivan and a few other big names stepped out with quality releases, but things remained relatively quiet. As the weather gets warmer and more people get vaccinated, more and more artists are occupying the music release schedule. This month, Isaiah Rashad, J. Cole, DMX and possibly Nicki Minaj will be releasing new music. Now, it looks like two more artists will be adding their names to that list.
Fans got excited earlier today when Lil’ Baby posted a photo of himself and Lil’ Durk teasing a joint project called Voice of the Heroes. In the post, the Atlanta native suggested that it would be released on May 28. Unfortunately, Lil’ Baby turned around and deleted the post shortly thereafter.
Lil’ Baby and Lil’ Durk have worked together a number of times over the last few years to produced “How I Know” and “3 Headed Goat” with Polo G. Most recently, the two worked together on “Every Chance” from DJ Khaled’s latest album, Khaled Khaled. Sometime in the future there will be a full project to round out their joint discography.
