
The off-court legend of LeBron James continues to grow. The Cleveland Cavaliers star forward adds to the list of his business endeavors and he just announced his inclusion in another movie. Except for this time, he’s not going to actually be on the silver screen in person.
LeBron announced he will be starring as the animated character ‘Gwangi’ in a film called ‘Smallfoot‘ set to release in 2018.

According to the ‘Smallfoot‘ IMDB page, the film will be produced by Warner Bros. and will include voice roles from Zendaya, Channing Tatum, Danny DeVito, James Corden, Common, Jimmy Tatro, Gina Rodriguez, and Yara Shahidi. It’s LeBron’s second time being a voice actor for an animated project, his first was on Spongebob SquarePants and he also was on Teen Titans Go!
James’ first real journey into Hollywood was in the 2015 film Trainwreck alongside Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Brie Larson and Colin Quinn. He also founded SpringHill Entertainment, a multi-platform production company which houses the Uninterrupted network, with Maverick Carter. James is also reportedly listed as an executive producer and star of the upcoming Space Jam 2 movie that has no current release date set. James is the executive producer for the television shows The LeBrons, Cleveland Hustles and Survivors Remorse.
