With the NBA playoffs underway, there is a lot to talk about. The Warriors blew a thirty-one point lead in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Philadelphia 76ers dropped fifty-one points in the third quarter en route to a win against the Brooklyn Nets. Not to mention, the Oklahoma City Thunder are now fighting to save their season on Friday against the Portland Trailblazers. With all of that going on, there is something missing. For the first time since 50 Cent dropped “Candy Shop”, LeBron James is not in the NBA playoffs. While he’s definitely enjoying some much needed rest, James is still getting things done.
Earlier today, Uninterrupted announced a new partnership with DAZN. As part of this new bond, LeBron James will serve as an executive producer for a brand new boxing documentary series called 40 Nights. The first installment of the series will chronicle the build up of the middleweight championship unification bout between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs.
In a statement, Maverick Carter said, “These documentaries will shine a light on the three-dimensional aspect of who these athletes are outside of the ring and empower them to tell their own stories as they prepare for some of the biggest moments in their boxing careers.”
The series will kick off on April 23rd leading up to the May 4th bout between Jacobs and Alvarez in Las Vegas, Nevada.
