With Paul George and the Indiana Pacers season coming to an end, there have been a few questions circling the future of this team. First and foremost, seemingly right after their game 7 elimination at the hands of the Toronto Raptors, their head coach Frank Vogel could have his tenure end with the team seeing as his contract expires at season’s end.
With Vogel possibly on his way out, that could mean others also see the door despite a return to the playoffs. A big key in the Pacers rebirth into the postseason was the comeback story from their star Paul George and his stellar play all season. George looks healthier than ever and that could mean it’s time for the Pacers to shop the All-Star for potential future success while his stock is the highest.
Yesterday, Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd said that the Los Angeles Lakers were a team looking to move their potential top three pick in the 2016 NBA Draft for a superstar and now, it appears that there’s a star attached to those rumors. It could be Paul George.
Following from Bill Simmons of ‘The Ringer’.
Piggybacking on what @ColinCowherd said about LAL – I believe the Lakers AND Celtics want to deal their lottery picks for impact players.

Also hearing that the Lakers want to make a BIG run at Paul George with their top-3 pick plus other stuff. (Not that they'd get him…)

If the Lakers offered Indy their top-3 pick plus Russell for PG13… I mean… I don't think Indy says yes but it's def a meeting.

(Of course – if 2 teams jump LA in the lottery on May 17, then Philly gets that lottery pick and it's all a moot point…)

The stars that could definitely be *had* in June – Boogie, Butler, maybe Love/Kyrie (if Cavs don't win title), maybe Melo (big market only)

I wouldn't put PG13 on that list but Bird is wired like Ainge – he'd trade anyone if you made him a ridiculous offer, he plays no favorites.
