LaKeith Stanfield is reportedly set to star in Die, My Love alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. It’s unclear what role Stanfield will play, but Deadline reports the film will be set “in a remote forgotten rural area.”
“The story follows a mother who struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis,” Justin Kroll of Deadline adds.
After wrapping up the role of Darius in the final season of Atlanta in 2022, Stanfield had a busy 2023. He starred in The Book of Clarence alongside Teyana Taylor and SAINt JHN. In addition, he appeared in Haunted Mansion and The Changeling. Moving forward, his name is attached to four developing films, including Play Dirty, Lear Rex, Notes From A Young Black Chef and Die, My Love.
Similarly, Pattinson and Lawrence had busy years. In 2023, Pattinson voiced The Grey Heron in The Boy and The Heron while Lawrence starred in the controversial No Hard Feelings. In the years ahead, Lawrence will contribute to The Wives, Mob Girl, Sue and an untitled project with Amy Schumer. Pattinson is also set to appear in the next two Batman films.
Die, My Love is reportedly in production, but there is no word as to when it will debut in theaters.
