Back 2 Basics: Bars only!
KOTD is coming back at us with the second installment of their new series, Back to Basics. In a glorious attempt to bring battle rap back to its essence with its newfound fame, KOTD executed its plan successfully in the first edition to #B2B. It was an event that KOTD felt they needed as the fans were getting tired of big stages ruining potential classic matches. In Battle Rap Dot Com’s leadup article to #B2B, one of KOTD’s staff members, Kyle “Avocado” Gray, explains what drove them to creating the series. It was a great decision as there was nothing but great reviews on the recent event that was available for PPV.

With having the pit format back, the excitement level is increasing as each battle is announced. Back to Basics 2 is going down on June 27th at the House of Gods in LA. Two battles have been announced and style clashes is what KOTD specializes in.
