Probably one of the most thoughtful moves i have ever seen from a league. Ty Law vs B magic is battle we have wanted to see since Ty Law entered the proving grounds against Sno. A battle for the punchline crown and the URL team knew how hard it would be for this specific matchup to translate in front of a crowd of thousands. Anticipating bars that would make the crowd go crazy, they moved the battle from Rookies vs Vets, to Nome 5. As the days were winding down, it was being rumored that the battle would not go down but nevertheless it got slated as a one off from Nome 5. As fans, we are expecting nothing but hay makers from each emcee.
“B magic muthafucka. The show’s arrived”
B magic, looking to put an end to any puncher who think could hang with him, is coming off of his first big grudge match battle against conceited. The battle of the king of punches at summer madness 4 was one of the battles we have been craving for two years and since Con passed the torch to Magic, Magic has found someone formidable enough to exchange with. But is it a reality for anyone to withstand Magic’s punches after every line and then topped off with haymaker every four lines? Let’s take a look
“Listen and Watch”
Ty Law rose to stardom pretty quickly with the push of URL but he understands the formula to keep you relevant in battle rap. Most PGs would get impatient and start asking to take battles else where, but if you performed quality material on the biggest platform, why jeopardize having a worse performance then the one that got you where you are today? After his UFF battle with Prez mafia, Ty Law has received some amazing recognition because for Prez to actually win that battle, he had to have went CRAZY in the ring. Ty rode this wave patiently waiting for a battle with a high profile or hitting the URL stage and he finally got the look he’s been waiting for against Magic. His skills are well documented but can he continue with putting out quality? Let us see.
This battle proves to be which style of punching you prefer. It is a cross between creating a scene with each punch, and relentless punches that creates a scene. Check out the full battle below.
