Queensbridge rapper Kiing Shooter dies after being hospitalized for medical complications.
Born William Daniels, Kiing Shooter was closely affiliated with rapper Dave East. The two came up doing freestyles together and collaborated frequently in the studio. Kiing Shooter was signed to Jungle’s Street Dream Records through Nas’ label Mass Appeal. The rapper was on the rise under his predecessor’s guidance.
“You made your mark and got your wings On many hearts, you pulled their strings From QB to Heaven, the world in between,” Nas writes on Instagram, memorializing the rapper. Mass Appeal records also sent a tweet in Kiing Shooters’ honor.

The rapper was hospitalized with liver complications, also reportedly testing positive for COVID-19. He uploaded an image on Instagram wearing hospital gowns stating “This can’t be life,” he wrote. “I said Henny was stronger than the Rona I ain’t know it was that strong…no more drinking for me.”
Kiing Shooter’s official cause of death is not yet confirmed.
Another New York rapper is gone too soon due to coronavirus complications. Fred The Godson lost his battle with the deadly virus in April 2020.
