Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors in the summer of 2016 after his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, failed to complete the series win after owning a 3-1 series lead over the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.
The Warriors have won the last two NBA championships, with Durant winning the Finals MVP in both series victories over the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers. The superstar forward and his All-Star teammates will now look to win their third straight championship and fourth in five years this upcoming season.
The nine-time All-Star averaged a whopping 26.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in his second season with the Warriors and 11th season in his illustrious career.
