The news couldn’t come at a better time for Post Malone, who is having the best year of his career. The New York native released his sophomore album back in April and hit number one on the Billboard 200 charts with 461,000 units in its first week. Not to mention, the album featured Post Malone’s first number one hit, “Rockstar”, featuring 21 Savage. Since then, Post Malone has been riding high off of the success of his album and not too long ago, Post Malone was named as a headliner for the Made In America festival which will take place just ten days before the Midtown Music Festival.
King Kendrick Lamar has also been experiencing continued success in 2018. Lamar started off 2018 with the release of the Black Panther soundtrack. The album and movie went number one in the perspective fields of entertainment. Lamar is currently on tour with the rest of his TDE family and is riding high off his headlining performance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam last night.
Tickets for the Midtown Music Festival will go on sale this Friday, June 15th.
