
Keke Palmer has announced that she will host this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
“Keke Palmer will be taking over your screens at this year’s VMAs,” MTV tweeted.
“I heard y’all was tired of 2020, let’s go back to 2008. Join me as I host the 2020 VMAs,” Palmer added.
This year, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga. Ariana Grande and Doja Cat lead the way with the most nominations. Doja Cat will also feature as a performer at this year’s remote award show alongside J Balvin and BTS.
In addition to a new remote format, MTV will feature two new awards this year. As a result of the pandemic, MTV will award the first-ever awards for “Best New Music Video From Home” and “Best Quarantine Performance.”
Palmer will take over the internet on August 30, 2020 at 8 p.m. with your favorite stars and celebrities.
