Ten days ago, GQ’s Senior Entertainment Editor Frazier Tharpe joked that there were only two jobs in Hollywood at the moment, Succession and Knives Out II. While his tweet may have been funny, all jokes have a bit of truth in them.
Kate Hudson has joined the cast of Knives Out II. Hudson joins a cast that has recently added Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn and Edward Norton. Not to mention, Daniel Craig is making his exit from the James Bond franchise and jumping straight into the Knives Out universe.
Hudson remained relatively quiet last year. She made an appearance in Sia’s “Together” video, but she did not star in any films or series. In 2021, she plans to bounce back in a major way. In addition to Knives Out II, she will star in Music, Truth Be Told, Shriver and Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon.
Hudson is set to join the star-studded cast this summer as they begin filming in August.
