Kahri 1k releases the official music video for his Quando Rondo assisted track “When They See Us.”
With a fresh co-sign from Pusha T, becoming the first artist signed to Heir Wave, Kahri 1k is ready to take over. Moving off the strength of The Ghost of Pecan Acres, Khari 1k releases the official music video for one of the project’s standout tracks. “When They See Us” is a lyrical track featuring Quando Rondo.
Directed by Shomi Patwary, the music video doubles as a gun violence PSA and highlights the realities of PTSD.
The record was inspired by vibe of the city (Petersburg, VA) and what my people go through every day. I already had the song done and i felt like he (Quando Rondo) was the perfect fit, so we reached out. The visual is a first hand look at the conditions in which I was raised and my exit plain to make it out” says Kahri 1k in a provided statement.
