It’s pretty difficult to reach success as an individual. With that said, it’s also pretty difficult to achieve success as a duo. However, there are certain duos that manage to maintain a standard of excellence each and every time they come together. Peanut butter and jelly, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal and Black folks and Twitter are just a few of the legendary combinations that strive for excellence each and every time out. Down in Nashville, a new duo is forming.
More than a year after making waves with the release of “Showstopper,” Brian Brown and Kaby have reunited for a new track called “R.I.P. Shawty Lo.” Featured on Kaby’s latest project, Forever, the smooth track features the two emerging talents trading bars. The only downside of the track is that it’s not longer.
On Wednesday afternoon, Brian Brown popped up on Twitter with a 16-second clip of what is presumably the “R.I.P Shawty Lo” video. The teaser features Brian Brown smiling as Kaby walks by in a hilarious manner. As the clip unfolds, the screen shares a promising message.
“Track 6. R.I.P Shawty Lo,” the message reads.
In a tweet, the Nashville native adds that the video is “coming soon.” An exact release date has not yet been revealed, but the preview is available below until then.
