Justin Timberlake has launched a scholarship fund to honor the late singer, Nicole Hurst, who died of breast cancer in 2021. In her honor, the Tennessee native will offer scholarships for two musicians interested in attending 1500 Sound Academy.
“In honor of one our Tennessee Kids, a woman who lived and love music, and one of the greatest voices and smiles the world has ever heard and seen — we’re so excited to announce the Nicole Hurst Scholarship, which will be supporting young creatives with [two] scholarships…one to attend 1500 Sound Academy in Inglewood, California and one to attend 1500 Sound Academy Taipei in Taiwan,” Timberlake wrote on Instagram.
The Tennessee native encourages applicants to apply before the April 26 deadline. Scholarships are scheduled to be awarded on May 13, 2023. Check out the video below to learn more about Timberlake’s new scholarship fund.
