It wasn’t a very well-kept secret that Josh Rosen was on the market. Especially after the Arizona Cardinals took Kyler Murray with the top overall pick in the draft on Thursday night. It didn’t take long for Rosen to find a new home, though, once Murray officially became a Cardinal. Rosen has reportedly been traded to the Miami Dolphins.
A source and spruce both confirmed it. Rosen to the Dolphins. https://t.co/DJeHhLgTWs

Rosen was taken 10th overall by Arizona in the 2018 draft. But apparently, new head coach Kliff Kingsbury preferred going with Murray in the draft and moving on from Rosen.
The 22-year-old Rosen was a highly-touted prospect out of UCLA. He played in 14 games (starting 13 of them) as a rookie and ended the season with a 66.7 quarterback rating. He threw for 2,278 yards on a 55.2 percent completion percentage. As with many young quarterbacks, turnovers were a problem. Rosen was picked off 15 times compared to 11 touchdown throws.
Miami is looking for a new starting quarterback after moving on from Ryan Tannehill, who’s now with the Tennessee Titans. The Dolphins did bring in Ryan Fitzpatrick this offseason, but Rosen provides more long-term security than the 36-year-old journeyman Fitzpatrick.
