Jorja Smith has released a brand new single called “Be Honest” featuring Burna Boy. The new track comes as a bit of a surprise to fans. Earlier this week, Smith tweeted a snippet of the track with a caption that read, “Surprise! My new single ‘Be Honest’ featuring Burna Boy will be available this Friday.”
Throughout the record, Smith plays hard to get as Burna Boy chases her down.
Jorja Smith sings, “I know you want me/Every day, tell me when you’re lonely‚ yeah/You see‚ you think?you?know me/But you?don’t even know nothing about me.”
Burna Boy sings, “People, they talk, they majesty/Love the way your body twistin’/Make me lose control in this ting, oh/And it’s all because I’m thinkin’ of us.”
The record comes just a month after Jorja Smith’s debut album was certified gold in her home country. Meanwhile, Burna Boy has garnered a lot of praise for his recent project, African Giant. As of yesterday, Burna Boy has entries on the Billboard 200 Charts, Billboard Reggae Charts, Billboard Emerging Artists Charts and Billboard World Charts. Simply put, they’re both doing great.
