This weekend, thousands will descend upon Washington, D.C. as the Broccoli City Festival returns to the nation’s capital. Through two days at Audi Field, everyone from Issa Rae to PARTYNEXTDOOR is expected to hit the stage for a celebration of culture, community and music. Along the way, St. Louis native Jordan Ward is set to hit the stage, bringing one of last year’s best albums, Forward, to the stage. However, he won’t solely be relying on last year’s work to carry him through a set in 2024.
“[I’ll be] performing some new music at [Broccoli City Festival] this weekend,” he wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Jordan Ward has not been shy about sharing new music since Forward dropped in 2023. In recent months, he’s managed to collaborate with several artists, including 6LACK, Larry June and Cardo to name a few. Not to mention, he’s spent the last year touring with 6LACK and QUIN. Soon, fans will get a taste of what the St. Louis native has been cooking up since he broke through with his latest album and his hit, “White Crocs,” featuring Ryan Trey.
