Just in the first game of the new year, the Orlando Magic had a scary moment when Jonathan Isaac had to be taken off the court on a stretcher in the first quarter of the game against the Washington Wizards. Isaac went to the floor after going to the basket with Bradley Beal guarding him. At first, it was reported that Isaac had a hyperextended knee injury.
On Thursday he underwent an MRI which revealed a posterior lateral corner injury and a medial bone contusion in his left knee. The Magic informed that Isaac will be out indefinitely and will be re-evaluated in 8-10 weeks to see how he has responded to treatment if he can return to the court.
