Reports have been circulating that say that the lightheavyweight champion Jon Jones is out of his title-defending bout with Anthony Johnson at UFC 187. It is important to note that everything posted is preliminary and has yet to be confirmed. Having said that, the fact that two different MMA insiders have reported that same story involving “Bones” Jones makes this all more intriguing.
It seems that the champ was involved in an accident and fled the scene due to some “party favors” he may have had on him.

UPDATE: Officials in New Mexico are working on a arrest warrant. The 20-year-old pregnant victim suffered a broken arm, and due to Jones fleeing the scene charges are potentially being raised to a felony, TMZ reports.
