The Bengals were not able to come out victorious in Super Bowl LVI and to make matters worse injuries impacted the team. Joe Burrow suffered a knee injury in the game, but luckily it will not require surgery to repair. He will rehab the sprain during the offseason and should be good to go next season when the team takes the field. It is not expected to drastically alter his plans this offseason.

This injury paired with the number of sacks this season will further fuel the talk that the Cincinnatti Bengals need a much better offensive line. Protecting Joe Burrow has to be the top priority for the team heading into the offseason. He already tore his ACL during his rookie season and has been hit more times than most quarterbacks at this point in their careers. The news about his injury is good for the Bengals and should not set back their plans to make another Super Bowl.
HOF executive Bill Polian believes Aaron Donald should have won Super Bowl LVI MVP, and the Bengals run the risk of turning Joe Burrow into another Andrew Luck if they don’t upgrade their offensive line.
