Some artists never learn how to age gracefully while some artists only get better with time. Over the last three to four years, Jim Jones has certainly been the latter rather than the former. Since 2018, he’s dropped a number of quality projects including Wasted Talent and El Capo. Along this run, he’s also worked with an assortment of stars including Jadakiss, Lil’ Durk, Cam’ron, Fat Joe and Rick Ross. Not to mention, he just dropped a record and video with the Migos.
Jim Jones is kicking off the new year with a surprising collaboration. Following the Legendz of the Streetz Tour, the New York native locked in with DJ Drama to develop We Set The Trends. Keeping the spirit of the Gangsta Grillz series alive, Jim Jones promises to deliver “like it’s ’06.” To do so, he’s enlisted the support of Dave East, Maino, Fabolous, Giggs, Icewear Vezzo and the Migos. Throughout the project, DJ Drama assists with the legendary vocals that have made the Gangsta Grillz timeless throughout the years.
