Jeezy is a busy man. Earlier this year, he linked up with Shawty Red for his latest project, 20 Pyrex Vision. Not long afterward, the Atlanta native proposed to talk show host Jeannie Mai. Now, he’s back to the studio to deliver a new track.
Adding to a weekend of great music, Jeezy has delivered “Back” with Yo Gotti. The Soundcloud and AudioMack exclusive is produced by the legendary Don Cannon. With fifteen years in the game, the two are here to remind you that they may have ascended to great heights, but they never forgot where they came from.
“They say I left the hood, but I got it on my back/Ask Gotti, yeah I got it on my back/Took a trip outta town went and got ’em, brought ’em back/Mister El Chapo, underground, now I’m back/Ask Sno, n*gga, I got it on my back,” the duo raps.
Jeezy is not just stepping out of retirement to deliver new music. He’s also stepping into arenas as well. Like his soon to be wife, Jeezy is set to host his own talk show on FOX Soul called Worth A Conversation.
