
Jay Electronica announces the release date and more of his long-awaited debut album.
In a series of tweets, the New Orleans rapper shared details on the work behind the album and a highly-ranked feature verse. Jay Electronica informed his followers, and Hip-Hop fans who were immediately tuned in to his timeline, the upcoming album was created in 40 days and nights.
Jay Electronica began work on the project on December 26, 2019. He also continued to confirm Jay-Z will be featured on the album which is due 40 days from February 7, 2020. One tweet simply says “A Written Testimony” possibly the album’s name. For many fans of Jay Electronica, the news is the best this year.
For over 10 years, Jay Electronica has teased various debuts. If released, A Written Testimony stands as Jay Electonica’s first full-length project since the mixtape Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge), released back in 2007.
