DE Jadeveon Clowney is reportedly signing with the Tennessee Titans. ESPN’s Dianna Russini is reporting that Tennessee edged-out the New Orleans Saints to secure the signing of Clowney.
Jadeveon Clowney is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans sources tell ESPN. He rejoins Mike Vrabel who was on the Texans defensive staff for Clowney’s first 3 years in the league in Houston. The Saints, the other main suitor, made a very strong case. This was a close one.

Clowney, the first-overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, played for the Seattle Seahawks last season, amassing 31 tackles, four forced fumbles, and a pick-six in his 13 appearances. In 2016, 2017, and 2018, Clowney was named a Pro Bowler during his time as a member of the Houston Texans.
In joining the Tennessee Titans, Clowney helps to bolster the defense of a team that made a surprise postseason run in 2020. The Titans pulled-off upset victories over the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens prior to falling to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
While the Titans have managed to lock-up extensions for running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill this past offseason, they lost the services of one defensive back Logan Ryan, who recently signed with the New York Giants.
