Over the last few months, the world of music has been obsessed with every word, tweet and joke that has come out of Kanye West’s mouth. From his infamous visit to TMZ to his most recent trip to the White House, West has made himself both the hottest topic and biggest enemy of Hip-Hop in recent years. As a result, we have heard everyone from T.I. to Chance The Rapper voice their concerns and criticisms of West and his actions. In recent days, we have heard the likes of Uncle Murda use their music to reference West as well. This week, we heard from a new voice in the ongoing Kanye West saga.
Hailing from Oklahoma City, J French made his voice heard on the matter. As the up and coming rapper and producer prepares for his upcoming project, O.G.B 1.5, he has dropped his newest record, “A Song For Kanye”. On the track, J French raps, “This is food for thought. I’ll make it into a plate. I see you going up. Let’s make it into a date.”
On the smooth sample, French displays his lyrical ability while getting fans ready for the new project which will drop on November 9th. The former TDE collaborator’s new project will feature A complete overhaul of the original O.G.B album with original songs and remixes. Listen to the new record above and be sure to watch the trailer as well. Check back for the official album stream on November 9th.
