One of my favorite loosies from J. Dilla has now been remastered and will be featured on the upcoming album The Diary, which is set to drop April 15th. “Sun In My Face” isn’t exactly a new song, but it is a record that obviously resonated with fans and the people in Dilla’s camp, so it makes perfect sense to showcase it on the new project. The song features an upstart Miguel and a heavily rapping Blu, who isn’t doing much rapping nowadays, over an always fire beat produced by Dilla.
