With the rumours of LeBron and Bosh splitting. The Miami Heat have gone into overdrive. After failing to get Gortat and Lowry. They’ve been forced to make some deals, and fast.
According to ESPN’s Marc Stein the Heat have signed Josh McRoberts or “Jesus” as Twitter would like to call him.
McRoberts will receive a four-year deal from the Heat worth an estimated $23 million and which also includes an option to return to free agency entering the fourth season.
McRoberts thus becomes the first player Heat president Pat Riley can present to LeBron James as a new future teammate in Miami’s quest to convince James to re-sign with the Heat.
Interesting they chose to sign the guy that gave LeBron an MMA style elbow earlier in the year. That’ll really convince LeBron to stay I’m sure.
