The NBA general managers that predicted there would be a lot of movement on the night of the 2015 NBA Draft were right, but the night didn’t start off too hot.
We went through the entire lottery before our first big deal of the night was made and from there, it was trade city.
One of the more underrated deals during the busy second round happened between the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis brings in a young talented guard in Andrew Harrison while the Suns add another veteran big body to their front line.
Jon Leuer will be going from the Grizzlies to the Suns in exchange for the rights to Andrew Harrison, who the Suns drafted in the second round with the 44th overall pick.
Following from ESPN.com’s Marc Stein.

And from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Memphis has traded Jon Leuer to the Phoenix Suns for Andrew Harrison, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Harrison never gets the chance to join the crowded backcourt of the Suns but instead finds himself in a situation with the Grizzlies with the opportunity to thrive, if used properly. The Grizzlies acquired Luke Ridnour earlier in the day but he was quickly sent away for Matt Barnes. The Grizzlies were in need of a backup guard upgrade and now it appears they have one, for cheap. Hopefully Harrison can play up to the hype he came into college with.
As for Leuer, he’s a solid reserve big man who has some athleticism and has been known to thrown down a mean dunk in his day.
