King Ghidorah, Mothra And Rodan will all appear in ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters.’
According to a press release issued by Warner Brothers, Godzilla will be in good company in the upcoming ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’. Within the press release, the official synopsis for the film was revealed. Much to the delight of the Godzilla fanbase, everyone’s favorite radioactive sea monster will be going up against some of his biggest rivals in the upcoming film. Including Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah. These monsters were alluded to in the post-credits scene for ‘Kong: Skull Island’ so their inclusion shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise for the hardcore MonsterVerse fans. For those unfamiliar with the aforementioned foes. All of the monsters listed above can fly and have had various powers throughout the different Godzilla incarnations over the years. Steady powers have included Mothra’s webbing ability and Ghidorah’s ability to shoot gravity beams out of its mouth. It should also be noted that King Ghidorah is universally known as Godzilla‘s arch nemesis so this throwdown in the film should be extra epic.
‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ is due in theatres on March 22, 2019. The official synopsis for the film is below.
“The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized Monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.”
