Jeffery Taylor has had a rough year. He was charged with domestic abuse charges and was unable to play the entire year. He was selected 31st overall in 2012 by the Hornets, but he has moved on to Spain. He will sign with Real Madrid.
According to RealGm:
Free agent Jeffery Taylor has agreed to a one-year contract with Euroleague contender Real Madrid, sources told RealGM.
Taylor’s deal with Real Madrid is expected to be worth over $900,000, sources said. Real Madrid is the reigning Euroleague champion.
Madrid and Spain are hot spots for former NBA players to go for sure. Taylor needs a rejuvenation, a much-needed rejuvenation in basketball too. Who knows, we could see him in the NBA soon. A small forward that can defend and shoot the ball will always be useful in today’s game.
