Currently, Ridley is serving a one-year minimum suspension from the NFL for betting on Falcons games while he was away from the team.
According to Adam Schefter from ESPN and Ian Rapoport from NFL Network the draft picks sent to Atlanta have several conditions. For the 2023 draft pick, if Ridley gets reinstated by a certain date it will be a fifth-rounder, otherwise it will be a sixth-rounder.
For the 2024 pick, it will be a fourth-rounder if Ridley is still in the roster, a third-rounder if he hits a play-time milestone, and it has a maximum value of a second-rounder if a long-term deal is done between Ridley and the Jaguars.
Because of his absence from the team due to mental health reasons and the suspension imposed by the NFL, Ridley last played in Week 7 of the 2021 season against the Miami Dolphins.
The receiver has a career-high of 1374 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. When he is reinstated, the Jaguars have a solid weapon to use with Christian Kirk.
