Netflix is here for the summer, fall, winter and all of next year. In the near future, Marvel plans to roll out Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson. Two months later, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will hit theaters. Rounding out the slate, Eternals is set bring Academy Award-winning director Chloe Zhao to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Eternals features an assemble cast that consists of Kit Harrington, Richard Madden, Brian Tyree Henry, Gemma Cahn, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Ma Dong-seok and several other stars. In the film’s first trailer, Hayek’s character, Ajak, gives a brief introduction into who the Eternals are and what they represent to the world.
“We have watched and guided. We have helped them progress and seen them accomplish wonders,” Hayek said.
“Throughout the years, we have never interfered — until now.”
It is not exactly clear what will cause the Eternals to come together to intervene in human life, but we’ll soon find out. Check out the trailer below.
