R&B duo Emotional Oranges is back with a new project called The Juice Vol. 2. The newly released project includes previously released tracks like “Don’t Be Lazy” and “Your Best Friend Is a Hater”.
When asked about “Don’t Be Lazy”, the duo noted, “We were writing that record as I was going into my current relationship. It’s basically like, “It’s getting cold out so it’s time to settle down.” You gotta know who’s really with it. That record is kind of provocative: I gave it to you and now it’s my turn, so don’t be lazy.”
As for “Your Best Friend is a Hater”, the two answered, “We wanted more of that family energy, where the guys and girls feel like one. We got lucky because this one has been going off crazy.”
The L.A. based duo will continue their European tour this weekend in Denmark and Germany. For those in the states, check out their latest project above and let us know what you think.
